Job Description
Looking for candidates from FMCG industry background experience.
a. Controller of Business operational cost, corporate and sales operations cost:
i. The role requires that the person takes on the management of the
Procurement, Factory, Logistics, corporate costs and in particular overseeing
the finances of the entire organization of the company.
ii. Tracking the Material, Logistics, factory, costs of sales, distribution, promotion
and marketing costs, corporate expenses, payroll costs, admin and G&A costs.
iii. This role will include evaluating the effectiveness of the costs that are spent
including productivity of sales people, setting up appropriate systems for
tracking sales force costs.
b. Financial accounting, reporting, working capital and compliance:
i. There are significant financial reporting and compliance responsibilities in an
SAP environment.
ii. The role has to oversee development of daily management dashboards,
monthly book close, monthly investor reporting, adhoc reports generation for
the purpose of managing the business.
iii. Manage end to end payables and cash flows. Setting up good processes to
ensure company has strong internal financial controls.
iv. There are significant assessments pending on Income tax, Customs and GST
side - so the individual needs to be highly experienced in interacting with the
tax authorities, Ensuring timely compliance with all statutory Returns with GST,
PF, ESIC, PT and various other laws applicable.
v. Responsibilities also include setting up close monitoring of cash flows for the
business given the company is going through a phase of high investment in
building the business.
