Job Description
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
- Ensure that financial records are accurate and up-to-date, and that all financial transactions are processed in a timely manner
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Manage the budgeting process, including developing and monitoring the company's annual budget
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with regulations
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships
- Manage and supervise accounting staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management
- Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and other financial professionals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders
