Mainframe Developer_S

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications.
• Work on COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM-based applications.
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing and support system/integration testing activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project delivery.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in Mainframe Development.
• Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Good knowledge of VSAM and Mainframe Utilities.
• Experience in development, maintenance, and production support.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domain.
• Exposure to Endevor, Changeman, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Mainframe batch processing and scheduling.
