M/s. Mahalakshmi Profiles Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1996 by Late Sri Prahladraiji Agarwal and Sri Mohanlal Agarwal – two highly experienced promoters of the steel industry in South India under the MPL Brand. Our manufacturing unit was initially equipped to produce Hot Rolled Strips/Flats. These products enjoy wide industrial usage, from the manufacture of M.S. ERW and Galvanized Pipes to use in collieries, rolling shutters, etc. The M.S. Billets used for the manufacturing of the hot rolled strips are mainly procured from renowned companies like Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (RINL) & Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL). The company has been growing from strength to strength with a vision to become a force to reckon with in the steel industry. Comprehensive planning and careful execution is coupled with a sound technical foundation and determination to excel at all costs. With the introduction of automation, we successfully moved to producing narrow width H.R. coils instead of strips/flats. Through forward integration, we installed a pipe manufacturing division in July 2000. The pipe manufacturing has expanded substantially with the setup of the second and third pipe plants in 2003 and 2008 respectively. Presently, we are in the midst of further expanding the pipe production range by setting up our 4th pipe plant which will be commissioned shortly.
