• Plan and coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and warehouse activities
• Oversee the movement of goods and materials in and out
• Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in good condition
• Develop and maintain relationships with shipping and transportation vendors
• Negotiate rates with transportation vendors and work to optimize shipping costs
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage and supervise logistics staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with all transportation and logistics regulations and policies
• Provide regular reports on logistics activities to senior management
