About the Job:

As a Linux System Administrator, you will play an important role in keeping mission-critical Linux environments stable, secure, and efficient. You will be the first point of contact for operational support, handling first-line incidents and service requests while contributing to the reliability of our customers infrastructure. Work Model: Night Shift USA Alaska Time Zone


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, maintain, and support Linux servers and systems to ensure strong performance and availability.
  • Respond to first-line incidents and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform regular system updates, patching, backup checks, and routine maintenance activities.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and help resolve system issues with a structured and proactive mindset.
  • Collaborate with fellow IT professionals to improve reliability, security, and service quality.
  • Document incident resolutions, operational procedures, and system changes clearly and accurately.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience as a Linux System Administrator or in a similar infrastructure support role.
  • Good knowledge of c including core administration tasks, system monitoring, filesystem management, and secure access practices.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation using Bash or Python, with an interest in improving operational efficiency through automation tools and repeatable processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate system, network, access, and log-related issues in a structured way.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Awareness of security and operational governance, including patching, hardening, controlled change execution, and clear technical documentation.
  • Relevant certifications such as RHCSA are a plus.
