DevOps Lead
Role Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated DevOps Lead to drive DevOps strategy, platform engineering, CI/CD architecture, cloud infrastructure, and deployment automation for enterprise-scale cloud-native applications. The role involves defining engineering standards, mentoring teams, and enabling secure, scalable, and automated software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the DevOps practice by defining engineering standards, deployment strategies, and CI/CD best practices.
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise CI/CD platforms and YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Design cloud-native deployment platforms for Kubernetes-based applications.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Develop reusable Helm charts, deployment frameworks, and automation libraries.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, containers, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Drive GitOps, release automation, and zero-downtime deployment strategies.
- Integrate third-party platform components and deployment tooling.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams.
- Implement DevSecOps, release governance, monitoring, and observability.
- Mentor DevOps engineers and drive engineering excellence.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders.

- CI/CD Platform Architecture & Management: Azure DevOps (Primary), GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD
- YAML-based CI/CD Pipeline Development & Automation
- Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure (Primary), AWS, GCP
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS preferred), Helm, Kubernetes Operators
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Cloud-Native Technologies: Microservices, API Gateway, Service Mesh (Istio), Container Registry, External Secrets, Certificate Management
- Linux Administration, Bash/Shell, Python & PowerShell Scripting
- Git, Azure Repos, GitHub, GitLab, Branching Strategies
- Monitoring & Observability: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk
- Cloud & On-Premises Infrastructure
- DevOps, DevSecOps & Agile Practices
- Technical Leadership, Team Mentoring, Stakeholder Management
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Kafka, MongoDB and RabbitMQ
- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert Certification
- CKA/CKAD Certification
- Client-facing solution or POC experience
