Chief Engineer/ Lead- Civil Projects-

We are seeking a high-caliber, dynamic, and seasoned Senior Civil Engineering professional with over 20 years of experience to lead large-scale Industrial & Infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities -Project Management & Execution

• Lead Project Execution: Direct all phases of industrial plants and infrastructure networks from site selection, master planning, and design oversight to final construction and commissioning.
• Turnkey (EPC) Delivery: Manage end-to-end Turnkey projects, ensuring strict adherence to contractual terms, technical specifications, and safety guidelines.
• Contract Management: Oversee pre-qualification, tendering, contract negotiation, vendor finalization, and dispute resolution with contractors and sub-vendors.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technical, financial, and operational risks across the project lifecycle.

Planning & Budgeting

• Strategic Planning: Formulate project master schedules, critical paths, and resource deployment strategies using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Financial Oversight: Establish comprehensive project budgets, cost-control mechanisms, cash flow projections, and ROI tracking.
• Resource Optimization: Approve allocation of materials, and human resources to maximize productivity and eliminate cost overruns.

Government Liaisoning & Compliance

• Statutory Approvals: Spearhead regulatory approvals, clearances, and NOCs from local authorities, pollution boards, aviation ministries, and environmental bodies.
• Public-Sector Relations: Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with senior government officials, bureaucrats, and state utility providers.
• Legal Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with local building bye-laws, environmental regulations, labor laws, and land acquisition guidelines.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor a diverse team of project managers, site engineers, and safety officers to foster a culture of excellence.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary technical interface for clients, promoters, consultants, and international stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile -

Education & Experience

• Degree: Bachelors or Masters degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 20+ years of hardcore civil construction experience, with at least 5- 7 years in leadership role handling industrial plants / Big projects of Real Estates.
• Track Record: Proven history of successfully delivering at least 2 to 3 large-scale Greenfield or Turnkey projects

Technical & Soft Skills

• Software Competency: Advanced familiarity with project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and design review tools.
• Liaison Expertise: Demonstrated network and capability in navigating bureaucratic frameworks and high-level government interfaces..
• Leadership: Outstanding negotiation, cross-functional communication, and crisis-management abilities.
