Klout
Overview
Klout was a website and mobile app that used social media analytics to rate users' influence online via a "Klout Score", which was a numerical value between 1 and 100. The higher the score, the more influence a user was presumed to have. It measured influence based on data gathered from social networks, such as Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Instagram, Foursquare, and Wikipedia. Klout was acquired by Lithium Technologies in 2014 and subsequently shut down in May 2018.
