Karamtara Engineering Ltd is a global, backwards-integrated manufacturer delivering precision-engineered solutions for renewable energy and transmission infrastructure.
Founded in 1996 and beginning operations in 1998 with a focus on transmission line towers, Karamtara has continually evolved to meet the changing needs of the energy infrastructure sectors. Over the years, maintaining focus on its core business i.e., transmission line towers, the Company has progressively diversified its portfolio, first into solar, and now entering into wind energy segment with new facilities to manufacture angular tower and tubular towers for wind turbines. Today, Karamtara stands as a trusted partner to OEMs, EPCS, and IPPs across more than 50 countries. A strong global footprint and an extensive international customer base back our associations.
Our Integrated capabilities and diverse product portfolio allow us to serve as a one-stop-shop for power transmission and renewable energy sectors. We provide structures and fasteners for power transmission lines, as well as for solar energy systems, including both fixed-tilt and tracker systems. We also provide overhead fittings for power transmission lines. We are one of the few product manufacturers to operate in-house galvanizing facilities, which is also one of the largest installed capacity in the Indian Power Transmission line and Renewable energy sector. This strategic product alignment positions us at the forefront of the transition to sustainable energy solutions.
Karamtara has been recognized as a Four-Star Export House by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government Of India, establishing our contribution to foreign trade.
