Junior DevOps Engineer

Part of a software engineering team responsible for building and operating innovative products within the Automotive sector of an Australian MNC. Our goal is to achieve engineering excellence through the utilization of software development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery and deployment.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef with Infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Perform system administration tasks on Linux, Windows Database SQL/NoSQL servers as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in production and non-production environments.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation

Essential Skills and Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience working in a DevOps role, focusing on AWS/cloud technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, AWS CloudFormation, etc.
• Strong scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef with Infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.
