Senior DotNet Developer

Part of a software engineering team responsible for building and operating innovative products within the Automotive sector of an Australian MNC. Our goal is to achieve engineering excellence through the utilisation of software development best practices. Key Responsibilities

• Full Software Development Lifecycle:
  • Design, code, verify, test, document, amend, and refactor software products.
  • Apply agreed-upon standards and tools to ensure well-engineered solutions.
• Collaborative Development:
  • Participate in code reviews with other developers, architects, product managers, UI/UX designers, and testers.
  • Work together to enhance software design and quality.
• Software Design:
  • Lead the complete design of moderately complex software applications or components.
  • Participate collaboratively in designing components of larger systems.
  • Create various design views to meet stakeholder needs and address functional/non-functional requirements.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Work independently with general direction.
  • Utilise discretion to tackle complex issues and assignments.
• Team Leadership (Potential):
  • May supervise junior team members.
  • Make decisions impacting assigned work or project phases.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality SaaS software products and advocating for engineering best practices.
• Extensive background in software development and design, including proficiency in design patterns and architectural principles.
• Proficiency in Agile software delivery methodologies.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members.
