Junior Data Scientist

Key Accountabilities

• Develop production grade AI/ML/GenAI solutions
• Understand and document requirements and solutions
• Analyse & evaluate data sources, data sets, build training and inferencing pipelines.
• Document data analysis, solution design and considerations
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of data sources, data gathering techniques, ML or GenAI solutions
• Coordinate with different functional teams to implement solutions and monitor outcomes.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyse solution performance and accuracy.
• Experience of 4-5 Yrs. in data science and GenAI development

Mandatory Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
• Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
• Experience working with different data architectures. Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques.
• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
• Exposure & Experience in developing solutions in GenAI and Agentic AI with good understanding in technologies like RAG, CAG, SLM Finetuning, Prompt engineering and cloud based GenAI services
• Bachelors or master s in computer science or another quantitative field

Desirable Skills

• Coding knowledge and experience with several languages Python, R
• Experience with Python and common data science toolkits like Jupyter, Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras etc.
• Experience in using different types of Databases - RDBMS, Graph, No-SQL etc
• Experience using Azure/AWS GenAI services, Langchain, Langgraph, Autogen agentic frameworks
