JD For Web Design Intern.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in Website Design: Collaborate with the design team to help create aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly websites and web pages.
• Wireframing and Mockups: Support senior designers in creating wireframes, mockups, and visual layouts for client websites.
• Learn and Implement Design Tools: Use design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Sketch to create visual assets and components.
• Responsive Design: Learn and implement responsive design principles to ensure websites look great on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Collaborate with Developers: Work with web developers to ensure that designs are implemented correctly, and help ensure smooth integration of design elements.
• Content Updates: Assist in updating website content, graphics, and layout as required.
• Research: Assist in conducting research on current web design trends, tools, and technologies to stay updated.
• Quality Assurance: Help with basic testing to ensure that designs display properly on different browsers and screen sizes.

Qualification:

• Education: A degree or diploma in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or any related field (or recent graduate).
• Design Skills: Basic knowledge of web design principles, color theory, typography, and layout design.
• Familiarity with Design Tools: Experience (even basic) with tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Sketch.
• HTML & CSS: A foundational understanding of HTML and CSS. Experience with web development is a plus but not required.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing designs.
• Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to develop new skills and adapt to industry trends and technologies.
• Good Communication Skills: Ability to work in a team and communicate ideas clearly.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of JavaScript or basic front-end development.
• Experience with WordPress or any CMS.
• Basic understanding of SEO and its application in design.
• Experience with prototyping and wireframing tools.
