Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java AWS Developer with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, AWS services, microservices, Kafka, Docker, and serverless technologies, along with experience in building enterprise-grade applications using Agile development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE and cloud-native technologies.
• Build and deploy scalable applications on AWS using containerized and serverless architectures.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with Apache Kafka for event-driven and streaming solutions.
• Implement Docker-based containerization and orchestrate workloads on AWS services.
• Build serverless workflows using AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform unit testing using JUnit and mocking frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
• Manage source code using Git and participate in CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, multithreading, collections, generics, annotations, reflection, and concurrency.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Fargate, Aurora, Lambda, Step Functions, and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Docker containerization and microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and MongoDB.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle build tools.
• Hands-on experience with Git version control and CI/CD practices.
• Experience working on application servers such as Tomcat or WebLogic.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of cloud security and application performance optimization.

• Strong experience in cloud-native application development on AWS.
