At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.
As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.
Responsibilities
- Engage stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Define business processes and translate them into functional specifications.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technology teams to define data requirements, mappings, and transformation logic.
- Perform data discovery, querying, analysis, validation, and troubleshooting of large healthcare datasets (claims, eligibility, provider, etc.).
- Document functional requirements, data definitions, lineage, and business rules for analytics and reporting.
- Support development of dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or Tableau aligned to business KPIs.
Mandatory skill sets
- Strong exposure to US Healthcare domain (Claims, Membership, Provider, Enrollment, Benefits).
- Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on SQL expertise.
Preferred skill sets
- Certification in Business analyst
Experience
6-10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
Education
- BE/BTech / MBA
Degrees/Field of Study required: Master of Business Administration
Certifications
- Business analyst certification
