Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a performance-driven and people-centric HR Manager to lead , talent development, and cultural initiatives across our organization. As a strategic partner to leadership and a support anchor to employees, you will play a pivotal role in fostering an agile and people-first culture. This position demands a balance of empathy, process excellence, and technological fluency.
Key Responsibilities: End-to-End HR Management
- Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compliance, performance management, and offboarding.
- Ensure statutory compliance and regularly update policies in line with legal mandates and organizational values.
Automation Efficiency Enablement
- Identify and implement HR automation tools to reduce manual processes and streamline operations.
- Leverage digital solutions for attendance, payroll processing, feedback collection, and employee engagement workflows.
- Introduce process efficiencies through tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Notion,Trello, and other collaboration platforms.
Technology Tool Proficiency
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for documentation,data analysis, reporting, and presentations
- Hands-on experience with HRMS / HRIS systems, employee self-service portals,and online recruitment platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri, etc
Talent Acquisition Development
- Build talent pipelines through direct sourcing, job boards, and strategic campus engagements (local and national).
- Design and execute structured onboarding, on-the-job training, and cross-functional development plans
People Culture
- Act as a custodian of employee well-being, diversity, and inclusion.
- Create a vibrant culture through team engagement, recognition, internal communication, and feedback channels.
- Address employee concerns via a fair and empathetic approach to conflict resolution.
Strategic Partnering
- Collaborate closely with leadership on organizational design, talent strategy,succession planning, and cultural transformation.
- Align HR initiatives with business priorities and provide data-backed insights for decision-making.
Communication Administration
- Maintain clear, timely, and accessible communication with all teams.
- Conduct regular HR audits, track SOP compliance, and ensure accurate documentation.
Required Skills Experience
- Postgraduate in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (HR specialization preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in a generalist HR role within a fast-paced or mid-sized organization.
- Proven experience in using HR tech tools and automating workflows.
- High proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of digital productivity platforms.
- Excellent communication skills -both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and an empathetic approach to employee relations.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage diverse stakeholders.
Good to Have:
- Experience in managing HR functions in a startup or rapidly scaling company environment
- Familiarity with labor laws and compliance standards across multiple Indian states
- Exposure to employee engagement strategies in hybrid or remote-first work models
- Certification in HR Analytics, Organizational Psychology, or similar domains
- Experience with advanced HR tools like Zoho People, Darwinbox, BambooHR, or SAP SuccessFactors
- Prior involvement in DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) initiatives
- Ability to analyze HR data for attrition trends, satisfaction scores, and performance metrics
- Strong content writing or communication skills for internal newsletters, policy documentation, or employee handbooks
- Background in handling confidential matters with high discretion
- Participation in external HR communities, forums, or events to stay ahead of industry best practices
