Job Title: Multispeciality Denial Coder.

Required Specialty: Multispeciality Denial Coder

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities :

• Coders should have worked atleast for 2 years on Neurology, Nephrology, ENT and Primary care specialties on the Superbill.
• Denial Coders willing to work on checking the coded CPTs, ICD and modifier without reviewing the medical records.
• The coder need to validate whether the CPTs, HCPCS Level II Codes (drug codes,) ICDs and modifiers coded on the application are a valid codes (not truncated or deleted codes) and are mapped appropriately.
• ***Coders need not be certified but definitely need to be a life Science graduate preferable Nursing, pharmacy or physiotherapy graduates.
• Coders should have a good knowledge on CPTs across the above specialties.
• Should possess knowledge in ICD 10 CM Conventions and Chapter Guidelines.
• Should have knowledge on HCPCS Level II codes and NDC for supply of medicines/contrast.
• Should have a good knowledge on the usage of Modifiers.
• Coder should be able to cross walk the CPTs to the correct ICD codes and append the required modifier.
