The PGT Computer Science teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Computer Science to senior secondary students, fostering analytical thinking, programming skills, and practical application of computing concepts in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science to students of Classes XI and XII.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and practical lab activities.
• Deliver classroom instruction using interactive and technology-enabled teaching methods.
• Conduct programming practicals and maintain the computer laboratory.
• Assess students through assignments, practicals, projects, and examinations.
• Prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams where applicable.

• Data Structures (basic concepts)

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, M.Sc. Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification.
• B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution (as per school/board requirements).
• CTET/TET qualification if required by the employer or applicable regulations.

Skills Required

• Strong programming knowledge, especially in Python.
