Job Description


We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio Developer with a strong background in ETL development, data integration, and data warehousing.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines using Ab Initio tools.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using Ab Initio (GDE, Co>Operating System).
  • Develop complex graphs for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Perform data analysis, mapping, and transformation across multiple systems.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency.
  • Optimize and tune Ab Initio jobs for performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders for requirement gathering.
  • Maintain proper documentation of ETL processes and workflows.
  • Support deployment and release activities.


Required Skills:


  • Strong hands-on experience in Ab Initio ETL development.
  • Expertise in GDE (Graphical Development Environment) and Co>Operating System.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (ETL, Data Modeling, DW/BI).
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
  • Experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with version control tools.

Good to Have:


  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Knowledge of Big Data tools (Hadoop/Spark).
  • Exposure to data governance and data quality frameworks.
  • Domain experience in Banking/Financial Services.
