Job Description
We are looking for a skilled GIS Technical Manager to join our team at SISL Infotech Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GIS technology and management, with excellent technical skills and leadership abilities.
Roles and Responsibility
- Manage and implement GIS projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation of GIS systems, including data models, maps, and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions using GIS technology.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members on GIS tools and technologies.
- Conduct research and stay updated with the latest GIS trends and technologies to improve existing systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for GIS management and analysis.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with GIS data management, analysis, and visualization techniques.
- Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
- Strong understanding of spatial databases and querying languages like SQL.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
