About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Graph Database Expert with deep expertise in Neo4j, AI/ML, and enterprise-level Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions to join our Innovation Program Team. This role focuses on designing and developing cutting-edge Proof-of-Concept (POC) solutions that leverage graph database technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Azure AI services to address complex and experimental business challenges.
The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a passion for rapid prototyping, driving innovation, and delivering value in a fast-paced environment. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Graph Database Development and Optimization
- Design, implement, and optimize graph database solutions using Neo4j and other graph database technologies.
- Develop and maintain graph-based data models, algorithms, and schemas to solve complex relationship and data connectivity challenges.
- Write and optimize Cypher queries for efficient data retrieval and analysis.
- Leverage graph database capabilities to build knowledge graphs and GraphRAG (Graph-based Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions.
2. AI/ML and LLM Integration
- Develop and integrate AI/ML models with graph databases to enhance analytics, recommendations, fraud detection, and knowledge exploration.
- Implement enterprise-grade RAG solutions that combine LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI) with graph databases for advanced information retrieval.
- Explore and integrate Azure AI Foundry services and other cloud-based AI tools to support POC development.
- Apply traditional AI/ML techniques alongside LLMs to solve business problems holistically.
3. POC Development and Innovation
- Development of Proof-of-Concept (POC) projects to validate innovative ideas and emerging technologies.
- Rapidly prototype solutions in a fast-paced environment to deliver quick value for business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define POC objectives, success criteria, and deliverables.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in graph databases, LLMs, and AI/ML technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
4. System Architecture and Integration
- Design scalable, efficient, and secure system architectures that integrate graph databases with Azure services, APIs, and other enterprise systems keeping in account the reusability in MVPs in future.
- Ensure seamless integration of AI/ML models and graph databases into existing workflows and platforms.
5. Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Present findings, solutions, and POC outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and compelling manner.
6. Documentation and Best Practices
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data models, algorithms, and processes.
- Establish and promote best practices for graph database development, AI/ML integration, and innovation projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Expertise
- Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Neo4j, including designing, implementing, and optimizing graph database solutions.
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing Cypher queries.
- Strong understanding of graph theory, graph algorithms, and their applications in AI/ML.
- Experience with enterprise-level RAG and GraphRAG solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or similar, with a focus on AI/ML and data engineering.
- Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., Azure AI, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure AI Foundry).
- Experience with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI) and their integration into enterprise solutions.
- Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
Problem-Solving and Innovation
- Proven ability to solve complex problems using graph databases, AI/ML, and innovative approaches.
- Demonstrated experience in developing POCs and rapidly prototyping solutions.
Cloud and Big Data
- Experience with cloud platforms like preferably Azure and their data services.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with knowledge graphs and semantic web technologies.
- Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and its integration with graph databases.
- Previous experience developing graph solutions for EPC domain
- Certifications in Neo4j, Azure AI, or related technologies
