Formulation And Development Executive

Responsible for formulation development and optimization of Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) products, including tablets, capsules, dry powders, and suspensions, with exposure to regulatory and product development requirements for ROW, EU, and African markets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize formulations for tablets, capsules, dry powder, and suspension dosage forms.
• Conduct formulation trials, optimization studies, and comparative evaluation of formulations.
• Perform pre-formulation studies and select suitable APIs, excipients, and manufacturing processes.
• Prepare and review formulation development protocols, reports, BMRs, and other development-related documents.
• Coordinate with Analytical, QA, QC, Production, Regulatory Affairs, and Engineering teams for product development activities.
• Support scale-up, technology transfer, process optimization, and exhibit batch manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing-related issues during development and scale-up.
• Evaluate stability data and support development of stability protocols and studies.
• Ensure formulation development activities comply with GMP, SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support for dossier preparation and regulatory queries related to formulation development.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of formulation trials and development activities.
• Should have working exposure to product development requirements for ROW, EU, and Africa markets.
• Participate in continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives for existing and new products.
