Job Title: Embedded Firmware Developer (ARM)Location: PuneExperience: 5+ YearsJob SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Embedded Firmware Developer with strong experience in ARM-based systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing firmware for embedded systems. Experience in the medical devices domain will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop embedded firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers and processors
- Work on low-level programming including device drivers, board support packages (BSP), and hardware abstraction layers
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bring up new boards and debug hardware-software issues
- Optimize system performance, memory usage, and power consumption
- Develop and maintain documentation for firmware design and architecture
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and quality processes
Required SkillsStrong experience in ARM architecture and embedded systemsProficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded environmentsExperience with RTOS (such as FreeRTOS, VxWorks, or similar)Hands-on experience with peripheral interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USBStrong debugging skills using tools like JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzersExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Good to HaveExperience in medical devices domainKnowledge of regulatory standards such as IEC 62304Experience with safety-critical systems and compliance processesFamiliarity with embedded Linux is a plus
QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or related field
