Fire Technician (Immediate Joiner)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Operate, inspect, and maintain fire extinguishers, gas-based flooding systems, and water monitor & spray systems at GAIL Bhiwadi Maintenance Base
• Respond promptly to fire emergencies, gas leaks, and other safety incidents within the facility
• Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance of firefighting equipment to ensure operational readiness
• Monitor fire hydrant systems, alarm panels, and detection systems for proper functioning
• Maintain daily logs/records of equipment checks, drills, and incidents as per site protocol
• Participate in mock fire drills and safety training sessions
• Coordinate with site supervisors and safety officers during emergency response situations
• Ensure compliance with GAIL's safety standards and site-specific fire safety protocols
• Report any equipment malfunction or safety hazard immediately to the reporting authority

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 10th Standard pass with a certified Fireman's course of at least 6-month duration from a reputed institute
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Fireman in Oil & Gas industry / Cross-country pipeline / Fertilizer plant
• Hands-on knowledge of operating and maintaining fire extinguishers, gas-based flooding systems, and water monitor & spray systems
• Physically fit and willing to work in shifts, including emergency call-outs
• Prior experience at an oil/gas PSU site (like GAIL, IOCL, ONGC) will be preferred
