Job Description
- Reviewing month-end journal entries (JEs) in coordination with N-1 team members
- Reviewing monthly balance sheet (BS) and profit loss (PL) flux analysis along with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Reviewing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting, including related corporate and schedules for the FS line item, in coordination with auditors
- Acting as the single point of contact with auditors respective legal entity
- Supporting the Tax team with various reporting requirements and assisting the Tax Head in recording and accounting for tax-related provisions, including income tax and deferred tax
- Collaborating closely with FPA on business and corporate-related transactions and financial movements
- Reviewing cost center allocations prior to submission to PL heads and delivery teams
- Coordinating with the Accounts Payable (AP) team on open invoices, unrecorded withdrawals, and process improvements to ensure timely book closures
- Collaborating closely with EY on goodwill impairment assessment and ensuring timely closure with PCAOB auditors
- Maintaining a sharp focus on debt, interest, and accrued interest balances, including periodic re-computations for accuracy and compliance
- Ensuring compliance with and effectiveness of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) controls across key financial processes
