Finance Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Finance to lead and oversee all financial management, accounting, and budgeting activities at our Kochi office. The role involves managing a team of six finance and accounts professionals, ensuring robust financial governance, and providing strategic support to the Director Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all finance and accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, taxation, and compliance.
  
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  
• Ensure statutory compliance and timely filing of returns (Direct & Indirect Taxes, GST, etc.).
  
• Manage working capital, banking operations, and cash flow.
  
• Implement financial controls, processes, and systems to strengthen governance.
  
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory and internal audits.
  
• Mentor, guide, and lead the finance team towards achieving departmental goals.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, SCM, Logistics, Warehousing) to align financial strategies with business growth.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education:
  
• Full-time Post Graduation in Finance (MBA/M.Com/Equivalent) OR
  
• CA/CA Inter with relevant industrial experience.
  
• Experience: Minimum 10-12 years of progressive finance experience with at least 4-5 years in a managerial role in large or mid-sized companies, preferably in supply chain/logistics/warehousing sectors.
  
• Skills & Competencies:
  
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
  
• Hands-on experience in budgeting, MIS reporting, and financial planning.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Leadership qualities with proven team management experience.
  
• A proactive, go-getter attitude with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
