Job Summary
The Finance Applications Specialist will be responsible for the administration, support, and enhancement of Oracle EPM Cloud applications, specifically FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service) and EPRCS (Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud Service). This role ensures smooth financial consolidation, reporting processes, system reliability, and continuous improvements to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Application Support & Administration
- Manage day-to-day operations of Oracle FCCS & EPRCS applications.
- Monitor application performance, data loads, metadata updates, security, and user access.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and coordinate with Oracle Support when required.
Financial Consolidation & Close
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation cycles.
- Validate financial data, consolidation results, and system calculations.
- Maintain business rules, mappings, hierarchies, and close calendars.
Reporting & Analysis
- Create, enhance, and manage reports, dashboards, and books within EPRCS.
- Partner with Finance teams to design and deliver reporting solutions aligned with business needs.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across FCCS & EPRCS.
Enhancements & Projects
- Support system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and process improvements.
- Participate in EPM implementation or optimization projects.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
Training & Documentation
- Create user guides, SOPs, and training material.
- Deliver training sessions to Finance users on FCCS & EPRCS functionalities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3 7 years of experience working with Oracle EPM Cloud (FCCS, EPRCS).
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation, accounting principles, and reporting processes.
- Hands-on experience with metadata management, data integrations, and business rules.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot system and data issues quickly.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other Oracle EPM modules (EPBCS, ARCS, PCMCS).
- Knowledge of Smart View, EPM Automate, and data management tools.
- Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, Oracle EPM Certification) are a plus.
