Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and delivery-focused Scrum Master with 5 8 years of experience to enable high-performing Agile teams. The Scrum Master will drive effective sprint execution, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement while aligning delivery with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enable delivery teams by facilitating Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Retrospective).
- Coach team members on Agile/Scrum principles, values, and best practices.
- Help teams define and maintain a clear, realistic, and achievable Sprint Goal.
- Identify and remove impediments that impact sprint commitments.
- Ensure well-groomed product backlog in collaboration with Product Owner.
- Track and report sprint metrics (velocity, burn-down, cycle time) to stakeholders.
- Promote continuous improvement and team maturity through retrospectives and actionable insights.
- Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Support release planning and ensure alignment with overall program roadmap.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 8 years of overall IT experience with at least 3+ years as a Scrum Master.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe preferred).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM / PSM) preferred.
- Experience working with distributed teams across multiple locations.
- Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Retail / ERP / Enterprise application programs is an advantage.
- Exposure to scaled Agile environments.
- Strong communication and leadership presence
