<p>Fermenta Biotech Limited, founded in 1951, is the only manufacturer of Vitamin D in India and a leading global player. Headquartered in Thane, FBL's manufacturing facilities in Kullu and Dahej are certificated by global accreditations and its world class R&D centre is also located at Thane. </p><span><br></span><span><br></span><span><br></span><p>Fermenta’s legacy in Vitamin D spans across 55 years and we cater to more than 350 customers across 60 countries. Our global presence is further enhanced by our international subsidiaries in Germany and the US. Our offerings include Vitamin D variants for pharmaceuticals, DNS, food, veterinary, feed as well as rodenticides.</p><span><br></span><span><br></span><span><br></span><p>Apart from Vitamin D3, FBL also possesses expertise in integrated biotechnology solutions such as enzymes for antibiotic synthesis and other niche APIs. Fermenta produces enzymes for manufacturing ingredients with applications in the pharmaceutical, food & fragrances, oleo, biodiesel, leather and fine chemical industries. It offers products and services related to waste water management and treatment solutions. The Company offers fish oil-derived cholesterol for aquaculture nutrition and recently added natural astaxanthin as well as Vitamin AD2 premix to its nutritional ingredients basket.</p><span><br></span><span><br></span><span><br></span><p>Building on our expertise in Vitamin D, Fermenta has now entered into the nutrition portfolio with new products for human and animal nutrition. We are proud to play a role in ensuring the health of communities across the globe. </p><span><br></span><span><br></span><span><br></span><p>Over the last decade, Fermenta has expanded from a solely domestic focused business to a global company, with more than 60% of revenues now arising from exports. It has established two wholly-owned international subsidiaries - Fermenta Biotech GmbH in Germany and Fermenta Biotech USA LLC, in USA.
