Job Description
Job Title: F5 Load Balancer L3 Engineer
Location: Chennai
Experience: 8-12 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L3 support for F5 BIG-IP platforms (LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM, APM).
- Design, implement, and maintain load balancing solutions across enterprise environments.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for application delivery and network-related issues.
- Configure and manage Virtual Servers, Pools, iRules, SSL offloading, and health monitors.
- Handle F5 upgrades, patching, migrations, and capacity planning activities.
- Collaborate with network, security, infrastructure, and application teams for project implementations.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations are maintained.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM.
- Good knowledge of GTM/DNS, ASM, APM modules.
- Expertise in load balancing concepts, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
- Experience in HA configurations, failover, and traffic management.
- Knowledge of routing and switching fundamentals.
- Experience in troubleshooting production environments and handling critical incidents.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management.
