Network Engineer (Routing, Switching, ACI & Load Balancing)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Senior Associate – Networking with strong experience in Routing, Switching, Cisco ACI, VXLAN/EVPN, and Load Balancing technologies. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on troubleshooting expertise, operational support experience, and the ability to manage enterprise network infrastructure in a large-scale environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesRouting & Network Fundamentals

• Hands-on experience with OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Static and Dynamic Routing
  • Route Redistribution
  • Routing Tables, Metrics, and Convergence Behavior
• Good knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 addressing, including:
  • Subnetting
  • VLSM
  • CIDR

High Availability Technologies

• Experience with network redundancy and failover solutions:
  • HSRP
  • VRRP

Switching

• Strong understanding of:
  • VLANs and 802.1Q Trunking
  • Spanning Tree Protocols (STP/RSTP/MST)
  • Layer 2 and Layer 3 Switching
  • EtherChannel and LACP

Cisco ACI, VXLAN & EVPN

• Hands-on experience or strong exposure to:
  • VXLAN Architecture
  • EVPN Control Plane
  • Cisco ACI Fabric
  • Spine-Leaf Architecture
  • APIC Controller
• Knowledge of:
  • vPC
  • FabricPath (Good to Have)

Load Balancing (F5 BIG-IP / Citrix NetScaler)

• Experience with:
  • Local Traffic Manager (LTM)
  • Virtual Servers, Pools, and Nodes
  • SSL Offloading (Good to Have)
• Understanding of:
  • Load Balancing Algorithms (Round Robin, Least Connections, Ratio-Based)
  • Session Persistence / Stickiness
  • Health Checks and Monitoring
  • Layer 4 and Layer 7 Load Balancing
  • SNAT/NAT Configuration
  • High Availability and Clustering (Active-Standby)

Troubleshooting & Operations

• Strong troubleshooting skills involving:
  • Ping, Traceroute
  • Routing Table Analysis
  • Network Incident Management
• Exposure to:
  • Wireshark / tcpdump (Good to Have)
  • ServiceNow Ticketing Tool (Good to Have)

Network Platforms

• Hands-on experience with:
  • Cisco Catalyst Switches
  • Cisco Nexus Switches
  • Cisco IOS / NX-OS CLI
• Exposure to Juniper Junos is a plus.
