Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage complete pre-shipment and post-shipment export documentation in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA), Freight Forwarders (FF), shipping lines, and other logistics partners for seamless export execution.
  • Liaise with the Sales team, Warehouse, and Logistics team to ensure timely cargo movement and shipment planning.
  • Arrange and coordinate local transportation for export consignments.
  • Provide prompt customer support by responding to documentation requests, shipment status updates, and export-related queries.
  • Update Bank Realisation Certificates (BRC) and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform ICEGATE entries and ensure timely updates as per export compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate export records and ensure documentation complies with statutory and company policies.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely dispatch of shipments.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of export documentation, shipping procedures, and international trade practices.
  • Hands-on experience with pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation.
  • Working knowledge of ICEGATE, BRC updates, and export compliance.
  • Experience coordinating with CHAs, Freight Forwarders, transporters, and logistics partners.
  • Excellent customer coordination and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Good proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and coordination skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Additional certification in Export-Import Management will be an added advantage.
