We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated IT Support professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of essential IT services, specifically in the areas of Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS), Active Directory Management, and Windows Operating System installations. Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for users experiencing issues with Windows installations and configurations.
- Manage and configure DHCP and DNS settings to ensure efficient network resource allocation.
- Administer Active Directory for user account management, including creation, modification, and deletion of user accounts and groups.
- Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely manner, ensuring effective communication with users throughout the process.
- Conduct system updates and maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of all IT infrastructure components.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects, including hardware upgrades and new software deployments.
- Document all support procedures, configurations, and technical solutions for future reference and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, with a strong focus on DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and Windows installations.
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP and subnetting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with users and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Certifications in relevant technologies, such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or CompTIA A+, are highly desirable.
