Test Engineer

• Expertise in ETL testing projects – 3+ years of experience. Work experience must be in Testing.
• Must have working knowledge of DB2 and PySpark Cloudera.
• Well-versed in developing test cases and following test execution plans.
• Knowledge of Python and libraries.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and technologies, including data modelling, SQL, query optimization, ETL processes, and tools.
• Experience creating SQL queries and SQL scripts as per business requirements.
• Experience in database object development activities such as views, stored procedures, triggers, functions, etc.
• Ability to engage with data engineers, testers, and business SMEs for validation, clarification, and issue resolution.
• Experience reviewing DB2 vs. Cloudera comparison reports and ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency of results.
• Ability to identify slow-running queries and optimize them during the project lifecycle.
• Defect management experience, including raising defects, re-testing, and optimizing code.
• ISTQB (Must) Foundation certification.
• Excellent Communication Skills. (There will be only one round of interview with end customer so STRICTLY no compromise on communications).
• Onsite travel is mandatory to CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai.
