Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System (DIMTS) Ltd. is an urban transport and infrastructure development company committed to build and deliver quality infrastructure. DIMTS came into being in April 2006. In July 2007 it became an equal equity joint venture company between the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) and the IDFC Foundation (a not-for-profit organization). Over the years, DIMTS has evolved and is now equipped to provide concept to commissioning as well as operations, management and maintenance services in the transportation sector. Transportation is the common theme behind these seemingly disparate areas or verticals. We have a wide network of prestigious clients, primary amongst them being the Govt. of NCT of Delhi (GNCTD) which has nominated DIMTS as the nodal agency for many of its public transport related projects. Apart from GNCTD, we also count amongst our clients the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Airport Authority of India (AAI), Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (MRIDC) and many others. Apart from creating quality infrastructure and transportation systems, DIMTS is also actively working towards raising awareness among people about public transport. We expect that a carefully selected raft of measures to provide reliable, safe, comfortable and affordable public transit combined with an awareness raising campaign, will encourage people to choose public transport over personal transport.
