Derivative Trader (Institutional Dealing)

An institutional equities desk is hiring a Derivative Trader for its dealing function.

Key requirements and responsibilities:

• Handle institutional dealing, specifically arbitrage trades for DII, mutual fund and FPI or proprietary books
• Trade large arbitrage and rollover files via GREEK
• Churn arbitrage positions to meet client mandates
• Handle execution errors efficiently
• Apply a solid understanding of arbitrage, dividends and roll concepts
• Train and mentor junior traders

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: proven ability to trade large arbitrage and rollover files. Knowledge of Omnesys or Utrade is an advantage.

Candidate profile: 3 to 7+ years in institutional dealing with arbitrage exposure. Excel proficiency preferred. Candidates from well-ranked institutional broking houses with relevant experience are preferred.
