Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Experience to execute institutional orders in Futures & Options across Indian equity derivatives markets.
- Manage end-to-end order execution and trade lifecycle for institutional clients.
- Execute trades on NSE IX and other relevant IFSC trading platforms.
- Develop and implement trading strategies based on market conditions, liquidity, volatility and client requirements.
- Manage F&O positions, exposures and risk limits within the firm's approved trading framework.
- Monitor market movements, price action, volumes, open interest, volatility and other relevant market indicators.
- Provide efficient and timely execution while optimizing pricing, liquidity and transaction costs.
- Work closely with institutional clients, counterparties and internal trading/operations teams.
- Understand institutional client requirements and provide appropriate execution solutions across derivatives products.
- Identify opportunities to increase trading volumes, client activity and revenue from the GIFT City platform.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new derivatives trading strategies and products.
- Maintain strong relationships with institutional clients and support business development through market insights and execution capabilities.
- Coordinate with Operations, Technology, Risk and other internal teams to ensure smooth post-trade processing and settlement.
- Monitor trading performance, P&L, volumes and revenue and provide regular management reports.
- Stay abreast of developments in Indian equity derivatives, F&O markets, NSE IX and institutional trading practices.
Candidate Profile
- Strong hands-on experience in Equity Futures & Options trading.
- Proven experience in institutional order execution and handling sophisticated client orders.
- Exposure to NSE IX / GIFT City trading will be strongly preferred.
- Experience with institutional clients, FIIs/FPIs, funds, asset managers or large HNIs will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of derivatives markets, including Futures, Options, spreads, hedging and volatility-based strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to generate trading volumes and contribute to revenue/P&L.
- Strong market understanding with excellent analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to independently manage trading activities in a fast-paced market environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
- High level of ownership, integrity and commercial orientation.
Experience - 10–20 years of relevant experience in institutional derivatives trading.
