Position Deputy Manager/Manager (OH&S)

This role is for an Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Manager who will ensure that all company sites and offices follow proper safety standards and legal compliance. The position is based in Gurugram, but requires frequent travel to project sites.

Main Responsibilities

1. Health & Safety Management
• Create and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety laws, client requirements, and company standards.
• Improve overall workplace safety culture.
2. Training & Awareness
• Conduct safety inductions and training programs.
• Organize safety campaigns and awareness sessions.
• Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness.
3. Site Inspections & Audits
• Visit construction and operational sites regularly.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections.
• Identify unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are taken.
4. Safety Reporting & Data Management
• Track safety KPIs, incidents, near misses, and compliance status.
• Prepare weekly and monthly safety reports and dashboards.
• Present safety performance to management.
5. Incident Investigation
• Investigate accidents and incidents.
• Conduct root cause analysis.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.

Candidate Profile Required

• 7–10 years of OH&S experience.
• Background in Construction, Renewable Energy, Industrial, or Asset Management Projects.
• Must have worked on at least 2 Wind Power Construction Projects.
• Experience in safety audits, inspections, training, and incident investigations is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and safety management systems.
• Notice period - 30 days to immediate

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering Degree/Diploma.
• ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety).
• Certifications such as:
• NEBOSH
• IOSH
• Diploma in Industrial Safety.
