This position will be based at Ahmednagar Factory for Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation (A unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd.) Designation: Deputy Manager - Production Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Electrical / Mechanical /Production Engg Experience: Diploma - 5 to 10 Years & Degree - 4 to 6 years
Responsibilities - Achieve Annual/Monthly/Daily Production targets as per schedules.
- Improve quality level for production lines with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Cost Saving through digitalization, automation, value engg, material productivity, labour productivity.
- Complete customer orders within 7 days.
- Continuous improvement through Lean/VSM/Poka-yoke/PFMEA projects.
- TPM Initiatives on shop floor.
- Safety Improvements.
- 5S Sustenance on shop.
- Improve labour productivity in shop.
- Technical competencies: Strong knowledge on manufacturing processes like fabrication and final assembly of electrical equipment.
- Familiar on understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good knowledge on SAP or equivalent.
- Plan and execute daily/weekly/Monthly production schedules to meet target.
- Ensure compliance with safety and EHS standards.
- Address production issues related to materials, manpower, machines.
- Monitor and improve line efficiency, cycle time, and productivity.
- Training and skill development of technicians and operators.
- Implement Lean / Kaizen / 5S practices on the shop floor.
- Customer First approach.
- Collaboration within team and cross functional team.
- Good in communication and presentation.
