About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Database Developer with 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining database solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, database performance tuning, and data management to support business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain relational databases.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration.
• Monitor database health, security, backup, and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand database requirements.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all database environments.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Create and maintain database documentation and technical specifications.
• Support database migration, upgrades, and deployment activities.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Database Developer.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and RDBMS concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle Database.
• Expertise in Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, and Indexing.
• Experience in Query Optimization and Performance Tuning.
• Knowledge of Database Backup & Recovery.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data migration.
• Understanding of database normalization and data modeling.
• Experience with version control tools like Git is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL) is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant database certifications are an added advantage.
