Database Architect

1. Handson Experience in PL-SQL/PL-PGSQL/TSQL.
2. In depth knowledge of PostgreSQL and MSSQL Architecture.
3. Willing to participate in hands on delivery of cross database migrations.
4. Ability to design and architect migration strategies for Oracle to Postgres , Sybase to MSSQL migrations.
5. In depth knowledge of Performance tuning in Postgres and MSSQL.
6. Basic knowledge of High Availability strategies for on-prem and cloud Postgres as well as MSSQL.

Added advantage:
1. Well versed with cross platform migration and code conversions.
2. Knowledge on Azure PaaS instances such as Azure Postgres Flexi server, Azure SQL , Azure SQL Managed Instance.
3. Knowledge of automation using Shell, PowerShell etc.
4. Knowledge of deployment tools such as Gitlab , ADO etc.
5. Experienced in data migration using various tools such as DMS , Azure Data Factory, ora2pg etc. Knowledge of change data capture is added advantage.
6. Experienced in Postgres upgrades, MSSQL to Azure SQL, on-prem to cloud Postgres migration strategies. Mandatory skills1. Handson Experience in PL-SQL/PL-PGSQL/TSQL.
