Job Description
- Expert level understanding of Kafka and its usage as streaming and event-based messaging platform. Experience with confluent Kafka is a plus
- Experience with handling Kafka environment builds, including design, capacity planning, cluster setup, performance tuning and ongoing monitoring.
- Good understanding of managing and maintaining Kafka clusters
- Experience with creation of key performance metrics, measuring the utilization, performance, and overall health of the cluster
- Strong knowledge of system design and architecture is required
- Strong knowledge on different APIs exposed by Kafka to handle the integration, data steaming and for data management
