Data Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Design, implement, and manage metadata management solutions using tools like Informatica PowerCenter to track data lineage, quality, and usage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven insights through analytics reporting.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all data assets, including inventory management, classification schemes, and access controls.

Job Requirements :

• 8-12 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of Data Governance principles and best practices (e.g., COBIT).
• Proficiency in Metadata Management tools such as Informatica PowerCenter or similar technologies.
• Experience working with large datasets across multiple systems; ability to analyze complex data sets for trends and patterns.
