Job Description
- Responsible for designing relational and dimensional logical data models encompassing end to end business domains, preferably having experience in Retirement domain or Insurance domains
- Liaison with business, data owners, Enterprise, and Solution Architects for different enterprise/upstream/downstream applications to understand business requirements and identify Source of truth, data flow, integration patterns and ensure data models meet the business requirements. These activities also include OLTP model for digital engagement or other components of the retirement ecosystem
- Understand non-functional aspects of the application(s) and ensure the models are scalable, efficient, and maintainable
- Responsible for converting the logical data model into physical one to create an operational data store model make informed decisions in maintaining data integrity and eliminate data redundancy. The operation data store model should support integration between the various applications, feed operational data to the portals and act as the base for operational reporting
- Create ER diagrams using LUCID or ER win or equivalent tool as the data modelling companion which maintains metadata that describes the data model, its structure, and semantics
- Work with Data, Integration Architects, Business Analysts and Application SMEs to understand and map source system data dictionary elements to the operational data model
- Good communication skill, collaboration with many stakeholders/ roles / groups and problem-solving attitude are required to be successful in this role
