Data Engineering / Azure Development.

We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer / Azure Databricks Developer with 1–2 years of experience in Azure, Databricks, and SQL. The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting data workflows, monitoring data quality, troubleshooting data issues, performing RCA, and implementing fixes. The role requires good exposure to dataflow, logging, diagnostics, and production issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support data pipelines and dataflows using Azure and Databricks.
• Work with Databricks notebooks, SQL, and data processing workflows.
• Perform data validation and identify data quality issues, discrepancies, and failures.
• Analyze pipeline and application issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Implement and validate fixes for data quality and pipeline-related issues.
• Monitor data workflows and identify failures, performance issues, and data anomalies.
• Work with logging and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot application and data pipeline issues.
• Analyze logs and error messages to identify the root cause of failures.
• Execute SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Support end-to-end dataflow troubleshooting across source, transformation, and target systems.
• Collaborate with senior developers, data engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Document RCA findings, fixes, and preventive/corrective actions.
• Follow coding, testing, deployment, and support processes in an Agile environment.
