Job Description
- Perform CT scans according to established protocols to ensure accurate diagnosis.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation protection standards during procedures.
- Interpret and report imaging findings in collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide exceptional patient care, explaining the procedure and addressing concerns.
- Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring regular calibration and upkeep.
- Ensure high-quality imaging by properly positioning patients and using correct techniques.
- Work closely with physicians to deliver scan results accurately.
- Follow Scans and Labs policies and protocols for patient care, safety, and equipment handling.
- Keep detailed records of performed scans, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
- Assist in training junior staff or interns in CT technology and safety practices as needed.
Job Requirements
- Diploma B.Sc in a relevant field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CT scanning techniques and protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with medical imaging software and equipment.
