Job Description
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Position patients correctly and apply radiation protection measures to minimize exposure.
- Prepare and administer contrast media for imaging procedures following established protocols.
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, capturing all necessary anatomical structures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Assist in the training and supervision of new radiology staff members as needed.
- Stay updated on advances in radiology technology and techniques through continuing education and professional development.
Job Requirements
- Diploma B.Sc in a relevant field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in radiography or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of radiography principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with medical imaging software and equipment.
