Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end deployment of credit and decisioning rules in production systems from spec to go-live, including testing, staging, and rollback protocols
- Own and operate the BRE translate credit policy into executable rule logic and manage the full lifecycle of decisioning rules in the system
- Understand and map technical system architecture and workflows; trace data flows from ingestion through scoring and decisioning
- Integrate third-party data vendors (bureau APIs, AA providers, banking analytics platforms) and own the technical handshake from scoping to live
- Build and maintain data pipelines that feed underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and fraud detection systems
- Maintain technical documentation data dictionaries, integration specs, API contracts, decisioning rule change logs
Requirements
- 13 years in a credit tech, data engineering, or fintech backend role
- Hands-on coding experience
- Demonstrated understanding of system architecture and data flow in a lending or fintech context
- Prior experience deploying decisioning or rules-based systems in production
- Working experience in a lending fintech preferred
- Engineering undergraduate; MBA Tech a plus
