Urgent Hiring Consultant Ophthalmologist (Phaco Surgeon)
Location: Rotary Eye Hospital, Katur Road, Vuyyuru, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh

Qualification
MS Ophthalmology
DNB Ophthalmology
DO (Diploma in Ophthalmology)
Registration
Valid NMC / State Medical Council Registration
Experience
Experienced Phaco Surgeons preferred
Candidates with independent Cataract Surgery (Phaco) experience will be given preference
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and OPD consultations
Perform Phacoemulsification (Phaco) Cataract Surgeries independently
Diagnose and manage Cataract, Glaucoma, Refractive Errors, and other ophthalmic disorders
Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
Counsel patients regarding surgical procedures, treatment plans, and follow-up care
Coordinate with Optometrists, OT staff, and hospital management
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and surgical records
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, NABH standards, and patient safety guidelines
Skills Required
Expertise in Phaco Cataract Surgery
Strong clinical and surgical skills in Comprehensive Ophthalmology
Excellent patient counselling and communication skills
Professional, ethical, and patient-centric approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
